Our Patrons, Envoys and Ambassadors

We have patrons, envoys and ambassadors who support the work we do to help disabled people.

Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Gloucester, has been our Patron since 1983. She has had a lot of involvement with Papworth Trust over the years, visiting us recently to support our Centenary plans.

TV presenter and farmer Jimmy Doherty

Jimmy said, "I am very proud to be an Ambassador for Papworth Trust. It is a unique charity which does amazing work supporting disabled people, and I'm honoured to now be a part of that.”

Phil Packer MBE became Envoy for Papworth Trust in 2010.

Phil's role ranges from supporting our fundraising events to celebrating the achievements of the people we work with.

Phil said, "They carry out some tremendous work and I feel privileged to have met some service users and the dedicated staff who are clearly devoted and committed to making a significant difference to others.”
