Carrie has impaired vision and anxiety. Due to her rural location received support from her parents getting her to and from appointments.
She wanted to get into journalism but lacks any experience in this area.
We introduced her to Volunteer Centre Fenland to gain up-to-date experience and references for her CV.
Through this, she was then introduced to the Fenland Music Association who asked her to write some pieces for them and these have now been published.
This has given her great confidence now and she is much more independent travelling to appointments on the bus.
We were also able to support her with applying for PIP at which she has now received at the higher level. She now is so much more confident and feels that employment is within her grasp.
