In October 2022, Papworth Trust was proud to launch its new employment support programme. Routeway to Work is a unique offer for young disabled people as it combines the learning of practical skills in a professional workshop environment with the one-to-one support of employability and well-being coaching. OWL Bikes is maximising its well-loved reputation in the Cambridge area to get young people acquainted with hands-on bike mechanic experience as well as customer service. Post-16 choices available to young disabled people are diverse in Cambridgeshire so it’s important to communicate the information to parents and young people so that they can make the right choice to fit their individual situation and interests.
