Following recruitment through the beginning of the year, Brian joined the Trust in May, attending meetings in May and July and then taking on the role of Chair in September.
His induction saw him visiting Trust services, meeting customers, staff and volunteers and getting to know our business.
In such a short time Brian has already shown such commitment to the Trust and has sat on a panel who appointed our new auditors, taken part in video recruitment for our new Trustees, improving our Trustee intranet site, looking towards working more efficiently and reducing our impact on the environment through investigating ‘soft’ board papers (by going paperless).
He has such energy and drive and is already engaging the management team and Board on our next steps for our Housing Strategy.
