Papworth Trust is partnering with Pure Recruitment alongside Orwell Housing to deliver a free Disability Confident webinar on Friday 1 March 2024 at 12:00 - 13:00.

Join them to find out how your organisation can improve access to your workplace for disabled people, and become ‘Disability Confident’.

Fleur Patten, Employment and Wellbeing Advisor at Papworth Trust will share lots of practical advice and information on ways employers can improve access to their workplaces for disabled people.

She’ll also talk about the Disability Confident scheme in detail, and how Papworth Trust can help organisations work through its three levels to become Disability Confident Leaders. This is something the Trust themselves have already achieved – so they have hands-on experience of what it takes to complete the programme.

The webinar will also be joined by Michelle Harrison, Director of People and Culture at Orwell Housing Association which became an accredited Disability Confident employer in June 2018. They signed up to the scheme to show their support for equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as their commitment to fair treatment and equal access to their services, information and employment. Michelle will be telling us how the scheme has helped them improve their approach to recruitment, and to retaining talented people.
