Papworth Trust welcomes Donna Covey CBE as our Interim CEO. Donna joined the Trust at the beginning of August and brings a wealth of senior charity leadership experience. She is an experienced CEO who has held a number of permanent and interim CEO roles across the health and social care and human rights sectors.

She started her career in the trade union movement, specialising in equalities issues, before moving into patient advocacy as Director of the Association of Community Health Councils. She currently Chairs the Wandsworth Care Alliance.

At the end of her first week in post, Donna said “I’m so impressed with what I have seen so far. The work Papworth Trust does is transformational to our customers, and it is a privilege to be a part of it.”
