We offer a diverse programme of activities for adults (18+) with learning disabilities and neurodivergence, designed to promote learning, independence, confidence, and positive health and wellbeing. Our sessions provide opportunities for people to develop new skills, pursue their interests, build friendships, and work towards their personal goals.
We provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate, achieve, and thrive. Our dedicated and experienced staff team support people with a wide range of needs and are committed to providing person-centred support. We are committed to co-production and work closely with our customers to shape our timetable of activities. Through regular discussions and quarterly feedback weeks, individuals are encouraged to share their ideas and help create a timetable of activities that reflects their interests, goals, and aspirations.
We offer a wide range of sessions designed to promote learning, independence, social interaction, and positive health and wellbeing outcomes. Our programme is shaped by the interests and aspirations of the people who attend, ensuring activities are meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable.
Creative sessions include arts and crafts, drama, model making, creative writing, Makaton, and our popular "Around the World" sessions, which explore different cultures, traditions, and experiences. To support health and wellbeing, we provide a variety of physical activities including boccia, tai chi, yoga, Wii Sports, gardening, health walks, and ten-pin bowling. These sessions encourage people to stay active, improve confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment. We also offer practical life skills sessions such as cooking, baking, shopping, and IT skills training, helping individuals to develop independence and build confidence in everyday tasks.
Community-based activities are a key part of our programme, with regular opportunities to explore Cambridge and the surrounding areas using our minibus. Customers access local facilities, visit valuable community resources such as museums, parks, and libraries, and take part in meaningful experiences that promote learning, inclusion, and independence.
Cost per session for basic attendance (morning or afternoon) is £32.88 for a half-day session and £65.76 for a full-day.
Some activities may require a small additional contribution to cover specialist materials, resources, ingredients, or admission fees. Individuals can attend through private funding or, where eligible, may be able to access funding and support through their local authority.
