Volunteering

Our volunteers help us to create a world where disabled people are seen for who they are. As a member of our diverse and growing team, you will be appreciated, not just by the Trust, but by the very individuals your invaluable work helps to support. Whatever your interests, availability and skill-set, we have a role waiting for you. Join us and make a difference.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

There are a wide range of volunteering activities that we update on a rolling basis. Whether your interest is in directly helping our clients, working in our offices, practical activities like gardening or driving, fundraising and events or volunteering as a group, there are opportunities to suit you.

How much time do I need?

For just a small amount of time, you can be making a big difference to the care and support we offer to disabled people, their families and carers. There is no long-term commitment - you are just a few clicks away from doing some good.

Where are your opportunities?

We have opportunities arising in Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk. We also have flexible, ‘remote’ volunteering roles and recruit nationally for one off events and fundraisers. If you do not see a suitable role but wish to apply speculatively, please email your CV to volunteering@papworthtrust.org.uk letting us know what you are interested in or contact our People Services team on 01480 357321 if you have any other questions or would like more information about volunteering for Papworth Trust.
