Good news - Barons Wood in Papworth Everard is now open again for everyone to enjoy!
Papworth Trust, which cares for the woodland, has recently completed essential forestry work following their annual tree survey. While some trees needed to be felled to keep the area safe, the Trust has planted 100 new native species trees in their place, helping to ensure the wood continues to thrive for years to come.
The woodland will continue to be carefully monitored each year, so it remains both healthy and safe for the whole community to enjoy.
