“Thank you to Fleur for an excellent and productive morning. We’re currently working towards Level 3 Disability Confident Employer. We reviewed our evidence so far and developed further actions to make our practice even better. It’s great that we can get this support for free thanks to Papworth Trust”

The Disability Confident Leader assessment process and the feedback we received from Papworth Trust, has really supported our knowledge and enabled us to continue to work to be as inclusive as possible.

Habinteg Housing Association successfully gained their Disability Confident Leadership status in September 2023.

Disability Confident is a Government initiative designed to encourage employers to recruit and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.

As part of Papworth Trust’s Disability Confident strategy for this year, it embarked on the journey of becoming a validator – this means the Trust can validate other organisations’ applications to become a Disability Confident Leader.

It supports their mission to promote Disability Confident and increase the number of Disability Confident Leaders across the country. The Trust supported Habinteg in becoming a Disability Confident Leader as part of their first validation.
