Peggy has been volunteering with Papworth Trust for four years. She helps customers in our arts and craft activities at the centre. When the centre has hosted fancy dress parties, Peggy has led the way by making costumes for staff and customers in her own time.

Peggy brings warmth to the centre, she has a natural ability to care for others, customers and staff all flock to her. Due to her enthusiasm and patience, sewing has become a popular activity amongst customers. She has taken the time to teach them new skills and encourages them to create new items such as handbags, hats and bean bags. She is very self-sufficient and will often captivate an audience by leading activities at the centre.

Peggy is very active and brings her energy to the centre. She has inspired customers to get involved in new ideas and activities at the centre and got them involved with activities they may not have been able to do previously. She is a very special lady.
