Sandra is a customer in our Opportunities Without Limits Cambridge service. She lives in a one bedroom flat in the middle of Cambridge city. It wasn’t known before the pandemic, but Sandra had had previous challenges with Anti-Social Behaviour in her area and at times, this involved her neighbours. Due to the pandemic, Sandra was isolated at home and not going out. The anti-social behaviour she had been experiencing felt exacerbated by this and left her feeling more isolated and alone.

During a welfare call with one of our staff, Sandra opened up about how she was feeling and loosely explained the anti-social behaviour she had been experiencing. Our staff team and Service Lead Paul, quickly stepped in to support Sandra with the issues in her area. They liaised with Sandra’s social worker, housing team and supported her to report the anti-social behaviour effectively by setting up and recording on evidence logs. Sandra explained how she really valued being able to pick up the phone to Paul and his team when she felt on her own and knowing that they were there for her in a dark and uncertain time.
