An initiative aimed at promoting local businesses and organisations in the Ipswich area has announced it will be supporting Papworth Trust as part of the ‘Suffolk Day’ celebrations.

The Local Values scheme has pledged its support to the disability charity, which operates two day centres in the town, through the sale of special ‘Life’s Better in Suffolk’ polo shirts encouraging people to shop local and promoting the virtues of the county.
Sam Brook, owner, said she was delighted to be supporting a charity which helps people on her doorstep.
Sam explained: “Local Values was set up to promote consumers to use and support local independent businesses through a discount scheme that you can benefit from when you shop in our members businesses.
“In keeping with this philosophy, we always look to support local charities and see the direct difference that support can make.
“I am delighted to be supporting Papworth Trust through a percentage of the sale of every t-shirt as well as a monthly donation and complimentary membership to Local Values.”
Jo Revitt, corporate partnership fundraiser at the charity, said: “Sam and Local Values have been long-term supporters of Papworth Trust and especially our work with disabled people in the Ipswich area. We cannot thank them enough for this continued support.”
The polo shirts are priced £29,99 and come in a variety of sizes for men and women, both in navy and hot pink.
