Linda Morris (Chair), Papworth Everard, Cambridge

Linda moved to Papworth Everard in 1970 when she married her husband who was born here.  Linda & her husband have a double allotment which keeps them fit & active during the summer.  Linda likes to spend the winter months researching her husband’s family tree, knitting for premature babies & while shielding during the pandemic learnt how to do patchwork & crochet.

Linda joined the Tenant Scrutiny Panel after she retired as she wanted to have some input into how Papworth Trust provide their Housing Service. Linda feels it is important to provide ideas & thoughts from a tenant’s perspective so that we can work together to make improvements.

Jim & Carol Monie, Haverhill, Suffolk

Jim & Carol have been tenants of Papworth Trust for the past 19 years. For the last 9 years they both have volunteered with the Trust in the roles of Tenant Representatives and Scrutiny Panel members. “We volunteer to give something back, to give people a voice and for that voice to be heard.”

Margaret Parker, Papworth Everard, Cambridge

Margaret moved to Papworth Everard in 1978 having spent time overseas with her husband who was in the Army. Margaret joined Papworth Trust as an employee in 1979 as a proof reader at the Pendragon Press & has also been employed as a care worker for properties within Papworth.  Margaret enjoys growing vegetables in raised beds within her garden & also volunteers with two local charities.

Margaret initially joined the Tenant Representatives Panel as she felt she could have a voice for people in the area in which she lived. Margaret then joined the Scrutiny Panel where she feels that she has a valuable input into shaping housing services for tenants.

Lisa Munden & Brett Fage, Chigwell, Essex

Lisa joined the Tenant Representatives Panel in 2009 as she wanted to make a difference to the area in which she lived. Lisa has also previously been involved in Tenant Forums and the Editorial Panel for a tenant newsletter. Lisa is now a Scrutiny Panel member. Lisa wants to help tenants have a voice and make a difference to people’s lives. Lisa also enjoys making greeting cards and watching quiz shows.

Brett also joined the Tenant Representatives Panel in 2009 when he moved into a Papworth Trust property with his partner. Brett has been involved with staff recruitment sitting on interview panels, he has attended Tenant Forums and is now a member of the Scrutiny Panel. Brett enjoys watching sci-fi films and going out on rides on his Vespa with local groups.
