Papworth Trust is proud to support The Big Help Out – a unique initiative which forms a part of the King’s Coronation. Starting from Monday 8 May, it’s a chance for everybody to experience volunteering in their local area.

Paul Sands, Volunteering Manager, said:

“Raising the profile of volunteers and the impact they make is key to our work moving forwards. Volunteers are a valuable part of what we do. They help our customers to learn new skills, support with activities, share their experiences and reduce the feeling of isolation.”

Thousands of organisations – from the biggest to the smallest and most local – have been registering opportunities at thebighelpout.org.uk where the app will link you up which what’s happening near you.

We’ll be sharing our plans for the day with you shortly but in the meantime you can register your support on www.thebighelpout.org.uk or our website for our current opportunities near you: www.papworthtrust.org.uk/jobs-and-volunteering/

Paul Sands has written a blog on the Royal Voluntary Service website about volunteering opportunities at Papworth Trust. You can view it here.
